Thank you for giving us the privilege of explaining to you Gods Plan of Salvation. I remember well when I was getting to know God for myself. I was at times very miserable, not sure what steps to take or why I even needed saved.
So, lets start at the beginning...
In the beginning God made the first Adam and he was without sin. According to Genesis 1:26 man was made in the image of God and his likeness. (Genesis 1:26 "And God said, 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.")
He also gave him a companion, a woman called Eve. (Genesis 2:18 "And the LORD God said, 'It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.")
God placed them in a wonderful garden called Eden with only one condition in the relationship. That condition: to not eat of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. (Genesis 2:16-17 "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, 'Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.'") In order to observe this one condition, it would take a heart willing to obey
not merely a robotic relationship. However, God had an enemy called Lucifer (the devil) that had been thrown out of heaven earlier and cast into the earth. (Revelation 12:7-9 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.")
Now Adam, being made in the image of God and being the son of God, made an attractive target for the devil. If the devil could get Adam to turn on God and commit treason, he could further his rebellious cause and be in a position of dominion over God's man. Lucifer being evil, would make Adam's life as miserable as he could. Man, having lost his God given authority, needed someone to save him from the dominion of Gods enemy the devil.
So God, loving the world, sent Jesus His son from heaven to take back the authority the devil got by treason. (John 3:8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.")
According to Romans 5:12-17, Jesus came to take the place of guilty man and said punish me instead. (paraphrase) (Romans 5:12-17 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.))
A seed must produce after its own kind
always; That is a simple principle. Apple seeds produce apple trees, pear seeds produce pear seeds
everytime. By this principle, Adam could only produce sinful men because he was a sinner. That is why Jesus had to be born of a virgin. According to the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 1, Verse 35, the Holy Spirit came upon Mary supernaturally and she became pregnant with a sinless seed. Thus, this pregnancy would produce an innocent man to die for all the guilty ones. (Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.)
By Jesus growing up and giving His life as an innocent man, He made salvation available to all those who were born of Adams seed. Therefore, salvation became available to all men regardless of race or gender. All that is necessary to be saved is the acknowledgement of these truths listed aboveAlso, you must desire this salvation and believe that there are no other means by which to achieve it. (Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Emphasis added)
If you have read this message and now have come to make your decision for Jesus
if you believe in your heart then let's now confess openly
.
Please pray with me now...
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I am guilty of gossip, jealousy, lust, fornication, adultery, lying and stealing, abortion
and right now I receive You as the One that took the punishment that I should receive. I receive You as my personal Savior and my Lord. I thank you for cleansing me of my sin. I ask You to put a desire on my heart to read the Bible and baptize me in the Holy Spirit. I declare now that I am saved not because I am good but because You are good. Thank You for saving me, Jesus. Amen.
